Opening day is coming.
Are your legs ready?
There is nothing worse than cutting an epic powder day short because your quads are burning out, your knees feel unstable, or day two leaves you too sore to ride.
Powder Prep is a science-backed, 9-week pre-season training program built specifically to replicate the physical demands of skiing and snowboarding. Whether you’re chasing backcountry lines, carving groomers, or pushing through deep powder, this program builds the strength, mobility, and armor your body needs to perform at its peak and stay injury-free all winter long.

The 6 Pillars of
pre-season fitness
Every single exercise programmed in Powder Prep directly mimics on-hill movements so you can feel strong, agile, and confident from day one.
1. Mobility & Joint Health
Deep ankle dorsiflexion for forward boot lean and optimal hip control for seamless edge-to-edge transitions.
2. Plyometrics & Deceleration
Force absorption and landing mechanics designed specifically to protect your knees and ACL.
3. Power (Force × Velocity)
Explosive directional changes, busting through heavy deep snow, and rapid force transfer.
4. Strength
Heavy eccentric quad loading and single-leg capacity to conquer sustained leg burn on long runs.
5. Sport Specificity
Rotational control, anti-rotational core stability, grip strength, and skill work for dynamic stability.
6. Conditioning
A Zone 2 aerobic engine for all-day mountain stamina paired with high-intensity anaerobic bursts for steep pitches.
